Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the SoKo Water Systems (“SoKo,” “we,” “us”) hardware, dashboard, and messaging services. By using the service or opting into alerts, you agree to these Terms.

The service

SoKo provides water-tank monitoring hardware and a dashboard that displays tank data and sends alerts you configure. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for the accuracy of the contact details and thresholds you enter.

Text (SMS) alert program

Program. When you opt in, SoKo sends transactional water-tank alerts (for example, low-level or full-tank notifications) to the mobile number you verify.
Opt-in. You opt in by entering your mobile number in your SoKo dashboard, verifying it with a one-time code, and enabling text alerts. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of purchasing anything.
Message frequency. Frequency varies and depends on your tank activity and the alerts you enable.
Cost. Message and data rates may apply, per your mobile carrier plan.
Opt-out. Reply STOP to any alert text to unsubscribe. You may also turn text alerts off in your dashboard.
Help. Reply HELP for help, or email support@sokowatersystems.com.
Carriers. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is not guaranteed and depends on carrier and device conditions.

Do not rely on SMS, email, or push alerts as your sole safeguard. Alerts depend on connectivity, carrier delivery, correct contact details, and working hardware, any of which can fail. Always confirm critical tank conditions directly.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, or use it in violation of applicable law.

Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that alerts will be timely, delivered, or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SoKo will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss (including water loss, equipment damage, or property damage) arising from missed, delayed, or inaccurate alerts or from your use of the service.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will revise the “Effective” date above when we do; continued use of the service means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Hawaii, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
